Christmas Day 2014

Christmas was a good day that started early that morning with some YSA friends and 6 missionaries coming to our home for gifts, breakfast and a movie.  We were able to get out for a long walk in the beautiful sunshine, talk with our kids and grandkids on either that day or Boxing Day which was the highlight of our Christmas!!  So many fun memories from this year.  Christmas dinner was yummy and quiet with just us, Boon and Erjia with lots of laughs and talking into the late evening.  It was a special Christmas. Our first in the mission field. So very grateful to be able to share the message of the birth, life, teachings, Atonement, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ with so many here in England.  He lives.  He is The GIFT!!

On thing that was so interesting was to watch as the YSA from China opened their gifts.
They were so appreciative and took in everything about them.  The wrapping, size, feel and just enjoyed everything about them.  Carefully removing the wrapping and taking a long while with each gift.
This is Derek with his small gifts.  Nothing much but he truly enjoyed the experience.

Breakfast - casserole with hollandaise sauce, cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate and juice

Christmas dinner with Boon and Erjia.  Great company and yummy food.
They do not eat sweets so we had fresh fruit for dessert.  Easiest Christmas dinner ever!  Such fun.
